I am 12 weeks now and had a scan yesterday which showed i have a 5cm fibroid. I was told to go home and not to worry about it as it might not get any bigger and that i will now be cared for by consultants . I was told i was lucky because it's not at my cervix. I'm now really worried about being able to carry the baby full term and if the fibroid will need to be removed after the baby is born. where do i find out more?
