Jess - yes, due to myometomy procedure to remove a lot of fibroids, my uterus is very week. I had a lot of cramping during the week of 16-20. So my doctor decide to give me a progestrone shot very week since then to relax my uterus. These shots have definitely been helping my uterus calm down a lot. When I get p/g, my fibroids are growing back and the estimation is about more than 4lbs total of 2 big fibroids which they are block my cevix. I still have few little ones around. With all these complications, I have to schedule for a classic c-section at 36th week (I pray that I can go to that far). My belly looks like it's ready to pop out any time. It's big, heavy and very pressure down below.
Mindy - I am so sorry to hear about your lost. Yes, make sure you get different opinions from different doctors before you remove it. In my case, few doctors kept saying to have to remove my uterus instead of myomectomy procedure... and many of them said that I could not get p/g or carry a child up to 27 weeks. Thus, I have passed my 30th week. Good luck!
