Hi - I had a mc 8 weeksd ago. It was twins. Lost the first at 6.5 weeks due to chromosome problems. The second I lost at 14.5 weeks. I had placenta previa at that that time and we think it just a pregnancy set up poorly that failed. So, the docs brought me back yesterday to have the water ultrasound test. They found 3 big fibroids, the largest measuring 4.5 cm. One oon top, one on each side. They want me to have the surgery to remove them, then wait 6 months to get preg again. I am 37 and don't want to wait. They are the type in the lining of the uterus. Does anyone think there is a HUGE risk of mc in 2nd trimester because of fibroids? Should I have this surgery? I don't want to but don't want to mc again, especially in the 2nd trimester. It was my first pregnancy.
