Mindy:

Our stories are eerily famiiar. The week before the mc, I had a reported low papp-a, so basically looked like a bad placenta. I don't know if there was a clot under the placenta but there was very bad cramping (labor) for about 2-3 days then whoosh - the whole pregnancy ended. Yeah, I am really tramatized by this. I had no idea how rough this is for women. No clue at all. So NOW, my hubby says let's just go for it and I told him he better be prepared for a potential miscarriage at 20 + weeks where you have to make funeral arrangements. I know that sounds awful, but seriously, that's how the doc made me feel yesterday. I am really concerned about how prepared I am emotionally. I work out almost daily to handle it. But the problem is the fibroids weren't the problem, so why is my doctor telling me now to have them removed? They are 1/3 size of a lot of the posts here (all three are 4.5 cm or less). I don't know if I can handle it emotionally when the fibroid will become painful in the 2nd trimester and there will be some blood. I'll probably fall apart.
