yeah ruth, the did a bikini cut incision, but my fibroid was in the bottom, so my OB ended up doing a clasic incision on my uterus up high- it felt weird, cause it was so high i could kinda feel it her digging around in there!! like right below my ribs!! but recovery was just fine, i couldn't tell the difference, and even though the C section sucked, baby and i are fine, and within 2 weeks i felt back to my old self- oh, i was pretty swollen for those first few weeks, because of all the manhandeling on my uterus, and did get a minor infection on my incision too, but again those things healed up pretty quick too.....good luck in 2 weeks- i worried so much, and it came out ok, you'll be just fine, it helps that the drs know what they are dealing with-- i had 3 dr's in my OR!!! im not sure if the fibroid is shrinking yet, havent had an u/s- lets hope!! apparently breast feeding really helps it shrink!
