To Margaret Jeans: I am pg and my dr. said that it depends on where the fibroid is as to whether he can remove it when they do the c-section and yes, they are supposed to shrink after delivery.I sure hope they do. I had 4 fibroids surgically removed on May 4th and got pg (very unexpectedly)by the first week in June and now have 2-3 new fibroids already!And I don't think fibroids are ever (or rarely) cancerous, so I'm not too surprised that he didn't do a biopsy.
