My situation is similar to Sarah (see Nov 7th post)--I am currently 14 weeks (1st time pg), and have four growing fibroids, largest about 6 cm. I had two days of cramping followed by five days of soreness and ligament pain at 11 weeks, attributed to fibroids. Now at 14 weeks, the cramping returned for two days, unbearable at night, followed again by a few days of dull pain/soreness, especially on my left side and left lower back. My Dr. is letting me take ibuprofen (thankfully--Tylenol does nothing) and says pain is from fibroids. My concern is, how often does fibroid pain occur? Does it eventually subside, or will I have to deal with this throughout my pregnancy?
