Just an update: I am 22 weeks now with 4 fibroids./ I started having contractions friday night and by saturday night they were 4 to 5 minutes apart while laying down. I went to the hospital and they did a swab test that said I was not in pre-term labor, so the guess is I was having contractions due to the fibroids irritating my uterus. I was given a soft muscle relaxer to stop them. It has slowed them down considerably. I am also taking motrin. Doc said that test they did says with 99% certainly that I will not go ionto labor within the next two weeks, which is great news. I am on that border line of viability for my baby. Of course I dont want him born at 24 weeks either, but better 24 then 22. I am supposed to stay off my feet and avoid anything that aggravates contractions and call if they get stronger. how is everyone else doing?
