Thanks everyone for the congratulations. Goldilocks, I'd say what you have is round ligament pain. I had that too ( I think every first time mom does at least a bit) and it sounds just like you are experiencing. I even went in to L&D because it hurt so bad I thought it was my appendix. They assured me everything was fine, it was only round ligament pain. ONLY!? Yes, it does hurt. The pain I had from my fibroids was a bit different than that, more crampy in nature.. like bad period cramps. Good luck with your pregnancy and keep us updated an how you do.
