Hi everyone. I am so glad that I found this forum and I'm really hoping that all of you can help me through this. I was diagnosed with a large fibroid back in 2002. At that point it was 8.5 cm and since then it has grown to about 12 cm. My uterus is around 20 weeks without being pregnant. I just got married on 8/5 and we got pregnant on our first try! I am currently 5 weeks 4 days and I am going in for my first ultrasound tomorrow. The reason I am having the ultrasound so soon is because I had a horrible experience with bleeding 2 days ago. We thought for sure it was gone, but my hCG levels are still progessing just fine. I'm really hoping that the baby is not ectopic, that's my worst fear at this point. Of course if it's not, I'm going to have a lot more fears as this pregnancy progresses. I really feel like I need a place to share this with people that understand because no matter how much I try to explain it to my husband, he'll never really know what it's like to live with this thing! I hope you guys can help. I am praying for all of you as well!!
