Hi everyone. I am glad that I came across this forum. I found your stories are informative and encouraging. I am 8 weeks pregnant with a 12 cm fibroid. My doctors consider my case as high-risk pregnancy since I am a small woman. I am 30, 4'11 and weigh 100 lbs. He recommended me to see another specialist to get a second opinion. We went in for a second opinion and he did not say anything that I was not informed already. I do not want to put our baby at any risk. We had the u/s done last week and the baby looks absolutely happy at where it is. I know this is just the beginning and I am afraid of what is going to happen next. I would like to ask for your thoughts of how do you handle it? In addition, what happens when the fibroid degenerates? How painful is it and do you have to be on bedrest? Thank you again.
