I am stunned at these posts where doctors don't prescribe progesterone! When I was 35, I was pregnant and spotting - took progesterone during the first trimester and had a healthy boy. I am now 41 and pregnant - the moment I took the test, I called my doctor, who put me on progesterone immediately. I am 9 weeks, have an U/S scheduled in a few days and am hoping for the best. I don't see any reason not to take progesterone if your numbers are low, or if you're an older mom. Good luck to all of you!
