Andi and Becky C.- When I went in for my doctor's visit last week my doctor said she keeps all her high risk patients on progesterone until week 16. She said because every woman is different, even when the placenta takes over it is still possible to have fluctuating progesterone levels. She has some patients like you Andi, who bleed when they stop taking it so she keeps them on it until week 36 so I think you may be one of those women who may just need a little extra help throughout your pregnancies. Becky C, I think that you are also gonna need a lot of help during pregnancy but it sounds like your doctor is keeping a close eye on you and as long as that is being done I would rest assured that everything will be okay. I had a girlfriend who had really low levels throughout her pregnancy and had her blood checked every week. Her baby came out full term and completely healthy so just hang in their and make sure they check your levels every week. Good luck to both of you!
