Liz & Lyanna - I had a MC / D&E on May 10th. Same issue, low hcg's not doubling. I went back to the doctor on 5/23 and he started me on Clomid after doing an ultrasound. So....I didn't have to wait to get my period. Tomorrow I go back to the doctor for another u/s to see how many follicles I have and to decide which day later this week I'll go in for another IUI (my 8th!!!!!). I'm worried about this cycle working right after a D&E. If I become pregnant again I refuse to go back to my fertility doctor until I'm 7-8 weeks pregnant. I can't bare to go through the blood work every other day to see if my #'s are doubling. I often wonder if I could have been one of the ones (like Tiffany - read her story) who had slow rising hcg's. I'd rather wait to go to the doctor when a heartbeat can be detected (after 6 weeks). See your doctor now about going on fertility drugs, you don't need to wait until you get your period.
