Sonia, I would NOT take any meds if you had a faint positive hpt. This happened to a friend of mine, her period was "late" and doc put her on meds to bring her period on. it didn't work--turns out she was pregnant! thank goodness there was no harm to her baby. how alarming that a doctor would prescribe meds to bring on a period without first doing an hcg blood test to check for pregnancy. please keep us posted on what happens with you. thinking of you and wishing you all the best.
