My specialist said that they only see a heartbeat 1/2 of the time at 6 weeks so your 1st u/s was not surprising & seeing the heartbeat at your following u/s is a very good sign! I was told by my Dr. & also read it somewhere that the chances of miscarriage drop significantly after the HB is seen. Everyone's hcg levels increase at different rates...so don't worry. I would concentrate more on what the ultrasounds are showing. Just take it easy & take good care of yourself. Try not to worry ...I know, easier said than done but I'm excited about your little heartbeat, and you should be too! Good luck, I'll be praying for you & all of you in the same boat. XOXO
