I have had 3 c-sections. I did not have a rash after the first one (9 yrs ago) But my 2nd c-section (21 months ago) I had a very bad rash, my dr. thought it was a yeast infection type rash from my neck to my knees, thought to be caused from the surgical tape used, had it for about 3 weeks after, then dr. treated it w/ diflucin, (yeast infection meds) It went away. I just had another c-section on Nov 20th and they did not use the surgical tape on me this time to keep this from happening and well it has happened again. I have a yeast infection type rash all over from my ears to my feet. The diflucan is not working this time, but I did not have this rash till I got home and was switched from the brand purkucet, (sorry can't spell) to the generic, maybe it is a response to the fillers used in this generic pain med? I have not used those meds in about 3 days and I still have the rash, just not as bad. So maybe not?? Oh and I itch like crazy, too. I have tried both vagasil and benadryl cream to get rid of this itch. I am hoping that someone will come along w/ an answer.
