Depends on if your baby needs to eat more than you pump during the day; if so, then you might need to pump a little at night to provide enough. But if you can space out night pumping, your body will adjust to making more during the day and less at night, and probably even more so if you can work in an extra pumping during the day to boost your supply. You may get engorged a bit while you are reducing your night pumping frequency, but your body will figure it out, just as it would if you were nursing at the b___st and the baby started sleeping through from midnight to 5AM.

thanks! i was sure if i let my b___st get engorged too often that my milk supply would go down...so i have been getting up every 2-3hrs throughout the night to pump..and i am getting exausted LOL....si ill try that....pumpimg at 12am and then at 5am. i have alot of frozen milk already for back-up.
