Pumping In Strange Places

I have to travel for work next week (travelling to and fro the same day) and the thought of pumping at an airport or anywhere else is freaking me out. I can't imagine sitting there on the toilet to pump. Plus, I'll be waiting outside a courtroom all day. Any advice? Suggestions?

Can you pump in the car?? I have to take a edu coure for my RN lisence and its in a hotel. Last month I went to one as well- I just brought a jacket of my husbands, put it on (its huge on me) and underneath it hid my pump... (I also try to park in a corner somewhere. But that way if someone walks by they can't tell you are pumping your b___sts. Most pumps have battery packs.

No, I won't have a car or hotel room. I'm literally flying in and taking a cab to the court house then flying back home after I testify.

I've found people to be pretty helpful if I'm somewhere odd (like a church or something!) and need to pump... maybe you can find someone to ask (at the airport and/or the courthouse) if there is a room you can use for a few minutes to pump? good luck!

I have pumped in a bathroom stall. I had a battery pack for my pump. It wasn't the most pleasant thing ever, but it could've been worse I guess. I literally hung my pump bag on the hook, stood up and pumped. I had to dump the milk :( but better that than losing my supply you know? Honestly after pumping in a public restroom stall I felt so germy I didn't want dd to have the milk, (I'm a germ-phobe, LOL)~It sucked, but do what you gotta do I guess.
