When Can I Start Pilates Or Abs Work After Csection

I'm just gave birth by csection 4weeks ago & want to start walking & doing some Pilates /Yoga but was afraid it will hurt or cause the incision to hurt . It still itches alot??? any suggestions

as much as it was against my doctors recommendations.. i was doing basic pilates at home at 5 weeks postpartum. I just took it really slow, and i couldn't even get through to work out until shortly after 6 weeks. I did them every other day, and if i felt strained or stretched, i was done for the day.. i never let myself get to the point of pain.. i hope this helps. (i also lost my weight really quickly)

thanx ..I actually got a postpartum power pilates video & I did it a few hrs ago it was not so bad. I was not able to do the leg raise or scissor ones but everything else was fine no discomfort or pain.. hopefully tomorrow I should be fine.
