Crampy

I am 16 plus weeks pregnant. I have some ligament pains the last few months, but now I feel like I am having cramps. There isn't any bleeding, thank goodness. I have a slight back ache also. Is this normal during the second trimester? Has anyone else experienced this?

I have and was given two maternity belts. One to support my belly and the other to support my back. I didn't use them for too long because I started having braxton hicks contractions at 18 weeks and I feel the belts kinda agitated me a little.

Hiya. From what I've read/heard minor cramps that come and go can be completely normal. I get the occa__sional crampy day and backaches, and usually when I'm about to get worried, they go away. Also backache is a common symptom that gets worse as pregnancy progresses and the baby puts weight on your uterus. Just listen to your bod. :)

At 20 weeks I got the most excruciating cramps. They felt like the worst menstrual cramps I've ever had. The books say that as long as they don't las for very long (thank goodness) and there isn't bleeding it's okay. I'd ask a doctor to be sure too

I'm also having pains, it hurts from the middle of my belly down to the botton of my...cush! and in my lower back! my doc said its to be expected at 19 weeks but I still feel scared and my ultrasound isn't until April 12! :(

I have been crampy for the last three days it just comes and goes. My appointment isn't until April 4th. I would call your OB though to ease your worries. I did and went to L & D with it. It ended up being ok. I still want to get my cervix checked.
