Help! I'm a little over 9 weeks pregnant and am terrified of every little thing at this point due to previous miscarriages. I've had 2 good ultrasounds with this one and am just starting to feel a little more comfortable and optimistic then this morning I started feeling a pain in my right side and then it itched so I lifted my shirt up and I have a rash on my side!!! I've never had a rash before and don't know if this is normal or could signal a big problem that could harm the baby!? I've called my dr. and the specialist I've been seeing and could only leave messages so now I'm just trying not to freak out....anyone experienced this at all?

First of all... calm down. Freaking out = not good for your baby. I don't know the answer to your question but I do know that for the most part unless you're bleeding tissue or having the worst cramps of your life your baby is most probably ok. :)

Thanks. There are some things that just intuitively don't seem right and that is why I was "freaking out"....luckily I went to my dr. because I found out it is shingles and had I just left it alone it could have been bad for the baby. :)

Glad to hear you got it sorted out Stefkay. That intuition is an amazing thing. Hope the rash gets better soon, we dont need a whole lot of extra's at this point hey!! :)
