I am about 5 weeks pregnant...and really my one constant symptom has been voracious hunger! All the time! I have read that that is not abnormal, but I am a little concerned. This afternoon, though snacking lightly (healthy too) all morning, by the time lunch time came around I was so starving! I had run out of snacks, but had to wait for my turn to take lunch at work and by the time I got home, I literally just gobbled down food. Since I was so hungry, though, my stomach hurt quite a bit and has felt achy since then. Both my stomach and my abdomen have been a little achier than normal. What do you think? Should I be concerned? I know it sounds hasty...but could I miscarriage from not eating fast enough when really hungry??? Thanks.

NO--you cannot miscarry by not eating fast enough. Growing a baby inside take alot of enery so your body boosts your metabolism to break down food quicker and turn it into energy to keep you going. Just eat when you are hungry and be happy doin it. Take advantage, cause not every women can do it.

Stop letting yourself get to the "really hungry" point as well... waiting that long can have its consequences, as you have already found out. Instead try to snack every couple of hours just to keep yourself from running on empty.
