hi ladies...just wondering if anyone here is due on the 14th, or around it, i thought that it would be fun to chat with one another as we move through the trimesters, and kind of compare notes so to speak. so far i am starting to feel much better (lol unless i eat chinese food which i normally love), and am starting to not feel as tired, but am sleeping a ton throughout the night, and i really have days where i dont feel pregnant at all. lets hear how all of you are doing! talk to you all soon!

Hi Lianne, I am due june 8. I havent been as tired and I never really got morning sickness, but getting a tny bump already. Have you had an ultrasound to see your baby yet?

lianne - November 29

hi melanie! yes i have actually had two u/s already, one to confirm my pregnancy...and the 2nd was a dating u/s to see when i would be due ( i have weird cycles, so we were all confused about conception time lol). how about you, have you been able to see the baby yet? i had another appointment last week, and we were trying to listed to the heartbeat, but the little one, just kept moving right out of the way, so when we finally heard it, we noticed that it was good and strong...and fast, but we couldnt hear it long enough to get a reading, but when i had my dating u/s the heart rate was 171 bpm, so that is a pretty good heartbeat.

Melanie - November 29

unfortunatly my Dr. wont do an ultrasound unless they suspect something is wrong, and since I am measuring right along with the dates I gave them they dont want to do one until the 20 week one. I hate that. But I did get to hear the heartbeat at 10 weeks but I didnt ask how many bpm it was. So is this your first baby? Do you have a secret preference as to the s_x. I would love to have a baby girl since I already have three boys. So are you starting to show yet? I am just at the point where I dont look pregnant I just look fat.

lianne - November 29

ahh...the looking fat stage...ME TOO!!! i hate it!!! i really feel like when i leave places that people are thinking...is she sure that she is pregnant, and not just gaining a few lol. this is my first, and i am a little nervous about a lot of things...in fact, i wrote a question about drinking diet coke, because i drank a whole pretty big gla__s, and literally on my last sip, i realized that i read something somewhere that you shouldnt drink diet soda while pregnant, so now i am all worried that i did something wrong :o)! am i going to be ok, or should i be worried? anyways, i dont really know what i want to have, but i have a very strong feeling that it is going to be a girl, and i completly understand why you would want a little girl...three boys huh? you must have you hands full! take care, i will chat with you again soon!

Melanie - November 29

I wouldnt really worry about the diet soda thing unless that was the only thing you were living off of. But You shouldnt drink to much of it. I cant stop drinking pepsi its like I have to have it or I will get phsycotic (sp). If you have anything you want to ask I could probably help. I am not a Dr. but I have asked my Dr a million questions throughout all of my pregnancys that I could probably write a book out all of the answer she has given me, lol. Hey where are your from? I am from sacramento

lianne - November 29

i actually live in hawaii right now, but i am origionally from missouri...my husband is in the marines, and he has taken us out here...not too bad of a deal...anyways, i know what you mean about asking questions, each doctor's appointment i go to, i have a huge list of questions to ask, plus, i am constantly researching on the internet...in fact, because of my research, i was also able to tell my doctors some things, and i dont think that they were too happy about that lol, but it got that for them to take me seriously, and not treat me like i was an idiot! and it also got me a sooner appointment which is good. otherwise, i wouldnt even have been seen yet! i really think that it is a military thing, and it is starting to get on my nerves lol.

lianne - November 29

lol..i just read over my posts, and i am typing all over the place, i am sorry if i seem to just be rambling on and on...i have noticed this happening more so now than when i wasnt pregnant, so who knows....

mama-beans - November 29

Hi ladies! Hope you don't mind if I jump in! I'm due with my 2nd on June 13th. Very excited! I would LOVE another girl, but am thrilled about whoever I have in here, he or she! I have only gained 3 pounds so far, but I measure now what I did at 17 weeks with #1... my belly just jumped out there.. although it is still squishy... I KNEW I should have done those sit-ups!

Nikki - November 29

Lianne, seriously, just relax. The research is going to make your head b__w up. It is such an incredible thing to just sit back and let your body do its thing. If you are a___lyzing every little bit, you will miss the miraculousness of it. Things will happen the way they are supposed to, good or bad. Just experience it. . You just have to realize that you will love your baby no matter what happens. People have been having babies for a long time. It will be ok

liz - November 29

Hey ladies, i'm due with my 1st on june18th and iam so excited. I've been feeling pretty good just tired and I already have a baby bump!

lianne - November 29

nikki...i am trying to relax as much as possible...i responded to you on my question about the soda...who cares if i research things...i do it for myself, so that i know what to ask, and what i should show concerns about with my doctor...i am ALLOWED to research what is going on with my body so that i can relax and enjoy it more...my god if i wouldnt have researched having cramps in early pregnancy, then i probably would have gone to the ER for fear that i was miscarrying...my main concern was drinking the diet soda...other than that, i am doing pretty well...i dont know where you get the indication that i am totally freaking out, i think that it is only natural to have feelings about things when you cant physically see what is going on with your body...and with so much controversy these days about what is ok, and what is not ok, blah, blah, blah. i know that women have been having babies for years, and i really blame our knowledge and and technology for a lot of our 'worries', but i am sure that women years ago, had their own set of concerns also. i think that showing emotions and concerns is part of being human, and i dont know why you are coming down so hard on me for expressing those...anyways, with that out of the way, liz and mama beans welcome! we are all so close together as far as due dates...hence the post lol, mama beans, i have gained 4 pounds so far, and i dont know if that is normal or not, but i am comfortable with it since it is all for a good reason! how are all of you feeling these days, i hope that you are all starting to feel better like melanie and i are. take care, and i will talk to you all soon!

Alyssa - November 29

Hope I can join! I am 11 weeks 5 days today and due June 15th. This will be my first full term pregnancy (I'm praying!) Had one other PG but ended in a m/c. My DH and I are hoping for a girl, but we really don't care. Just a healthy baby would be great! I also do have a little baby bump that is noticable. I love it!

lianne - November 29

hi alyssa welcome! awww...i wish that i had a little baby bump...it must be so cute! on the other hand, like i said earlier, i just look like i put on a few...which i have, but i wish that i was already at that stage where i actually look pregnant lol...so how are you feeling?

Melanie - November 29

Lianne you go ahead and research and ask as much as you would like. I know if I didnt ask or research every little thing I would be going crazy calling the Dr. every 5 minutes or going to the Er for every little pain or cramp. Do whatever keeps you at ease because strees is not good during pregnancy. Oh Lianne I hate those military hospitals. I had to go to one because I had insurance through the air force from my Dad, and man did they treat me like I was the most dumbest person on earth. I finnaly just switched to a regular Dr and just payed out of pocket. Mama beans welcome and WOW you are measuring big. Mabee you are going to have twins. liz welcome and congratulations and Alyssa, I love that name as a matter of fact as soon as I found out I was pregnant I decided on that name if I have a little girl.

lianne - November 29

thanks melanie, i will keep on doing my research, like i said that if i hadnt, i would have been just like you, i think that it is super natural to be concerned...who really isnt...honestly i worry when someone doesnt think about or be concerned with something if they arent sure...now i am not saying that everyone should be research freaks like i am (hell i researched my heart out while i was TTC as well) but if that is what helps you/me, then by all means do it right...lol, anyways, i am happy to see that there are so many of us here...how far along is everyone? i will be 12 weeks tomorrow, and was thinking of taking this to the 2nd trimester board next week...do you all want to join me there at that time?

Melanie - November 29

I will jump over to the second trimester board with you. I am going to be 13 weeks on thursday. Seems like this time this pregnancy is going by much faster with my other pregnancys they took forever.
