Hey there I am 27 and on my second pregnancy. I am 9 weeks now and have a rather rare uterus condition. I have two seperate uteruses and two seperate cervixes. Just wondering if on the off chance anyone else out there has this condition? It really doesn't cause for too much concern I carried my first pregnancy to 38 weeks and everything went pretty much normally and this one is seemingly the same. The only weird thing is I seem to get a period from my other uterus in the beggining. Which is really scary although causes no problems to the uterus I am pregnant in. Anyway just guess I am wondering how rare this really is???

My old baby sitter had this condition but had serious complications from it and had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 23, thank your lucky stars you have your babies. Congrats

My mom's mom had this! I was just talking to my mom about it today. I know my grandma miscarried several times, but I can't say if that had to do with her condition. But she had my mom and and uncle, both very healthy! And she never suffered any complications affecting her health. Hope this helps!

I know that there is a more common condition called bicornate uturus which is 1 cervix with 2 uterus's and that is very high risk for miscarriages, because your uterus's are seperated by a septum and if the baby implants on the septum it can't survive (not enough blood flow) . Fortunately I got the rarer condition which is two cervixes with two completely seperate uterus's which are just like everyone elses uterus's except i have two of them.
