Anyone Scared Of Gaining Weight

Hi everyone. This is my second baby and I am 5 weeks pregnant. With my son, I gained 50 pounds and had a hard time losing it. Now, let me say, I would never diet during pregnancy or deny my baby essential food and nutrients. But, I am so scared of gaining weight. I am a perpetual dieter and if I don't watch what I eat, I gain weight. To make matters worse, I am craving bread, pasta, and cheese and can't stand to look at fruit ro anything healthy. Just wanted to know if anyone felt the same way I do. And again, I will not diet so please don't worry that my baby is suffering (he/she is not - trust me, I am eating)

bubbasmom you are adorable lol... this is my first baby and honestly for some reason Im not worried about gaining weight.. which is odd because before I got pregnant I was crazy about being skinny, not to the point of anorexia or anything.. just eating well working out and such. so its weird that now Im not worried at all I guess I see the baby as an excuse to gain weight. I have been craving fruit more than anything else.. and right now I really want some chicken enchiladas lol. I'm sure you'll be fine.. try not to worry about weight so much and just enjoy the pregnancy... let your future self worry about getting the weight off later lol.

Hahaha Bubbasmom you are funny. I like how you repeated that you do eat and you would never diet during pregnancy!!! MAKE SURE YOU GOT THAT EVERYBODY! Lol. I know what you mean girly. I'm not afraid of gaining weight I'm actually EXCITED! I want a HUGE belly. I don't really want to gain weight every where else though. (Although, I could use some more junk in the trunk now that I think about it) I do wonder what my stomach will look like directly after the baby though. Saggy? Eww. I delivered my daughter at 6 months and my stomach snapped right back to pre-pregnancy shape. OH but I did still look a little pregnant for a week or more, maybe more I don't remember. By the time I returned to work I was back to normal. I imagine after a full term deliver we just look pregnant still??? I know a lot of it has to do with your uterus shrinking back to its normal size. Any who, don't be scared you will lose all the weight. I once worked with a girl who gain 80lbs during pregnancy. NOW that's ridiclious! Just stay between 25 and 50lbs and I think you should be fine. (Easier said than done) but what do I know, every woman is different. Maybe you should take a yoga cla__s. I know approved exercise during pregnancy helps us stay healthy and snap back into shape quicker after delivery. Ok that's all. :) One last thing, I'm more afraid of what my b___bs will look like after b___stfeeding. . . Yikes! Can you say BOOB JOB!

lol, I hear ya shoppingfortwo... My b___bs were smallish.. not tiny but not HUGE since I have been pregnant that have gotten pretty big.. Im afraid of what they will look like in another 7 or 8 months :( lol

My b___bs are huge! :( I don't want big huge saggy floppy b___bs! Hehe. Mine have gotten a bit bigger. Like thicker or more dense. . . hard to explain. When my milk came in after my daughter they were GINORMOUS and hard. It was like my skin was stretched to the max and they were very very sore! ouch!

The getting bigger part is exciting for me too. . . the deflating part is what scares me. :)

HeatherIsHopeful - November 15

well, I gained 60 pounds and lost almost all of it...my b___bs I miss though. It was nice to have gigantic ones for sure. Actually, mine are back to their normal pre-pregnancy size. I thought they would shrivel up but they didn't.

Fefer1, LUCKY!! I love hearing stories like your, it gives me hope. The BIG question though, DID YOU BREASTFEED. My b___bs are fine since I never b___stfeed, they are back and beautiful! Lol. I heard that bf'ing is what makes 'em droppy, saggy, and flatter than before. I sure hope God takes it easy on me when it comes to that! :)

HeatherIsHopeful - November 15

lol this is getting too funny lol... By the sounds of it I should take some pictures of myself before I get all huge then all droopy and "deflated" lol so I can look back and say "I was beautiful once" LOL

seeing as how i already look like i've had a kid (i'm pretty curvy and have always had a little tummy), i am very scared of packing it on. but i've been concious of the weight watchers plan for a while now, and it really is a very healthy way to eat, live, and maintain weight. it's all about balancing. i know pregnant women can join meetings...not to loose, but to get support and reminders about healthy eating. good luck!

oh no, I b___stfed for a year! :) I also took pictures of myself at different weeks with my daughter - and they are so shocking! I went from looking flat to GIGANTO b___b woman. The intent was to take pictures of my belly but you can't help but notice the ma__sive chest that came out of nowhere. haha..even my friends laugh at the pics.
