Is anyone else having problems sleeping? I am so congested that I can't make it through the night without having to get up to blow my nose.... many times! Then it takes me while to get back to sleep! I keep hearing about how women can't get enough sleep... neither can I, but for the reason that I can't stay asleep! Help! Any ideas??

I'm up every nite at 2:30 am, and yes it sucks for sure!! I don't have any problems falling asleep, it's the staying asleep part that I'm having problems with. I have no clue what to do about it either, maybe thats just part of it? :(

lol it doesnt get much better either.. they "say" your second trimester is better.. but im 15 weeks (tomorrow) and still can't sleep very well. hopefully it'll be easier for you when your nose isnt so congested.

Hi, I'm 5 weeks but for the past three nights I wake up between 2am - 3am, wide awake! And have had continual sneezing and stuffiness for two weeks already. I thought I was going down with a cold like many others at work but I've no sore throat! Have since found it's called pregnant rhinitus and quite long as I don't get morning sickness I can use my 'cold' as a cover story till week 12. Good luck hope you get some sleep soon.

For those of you haveing congestion problems, saline nasal spray from the drugstore works very very well to cut down on the congestion. It is non medicated so you can use it as often as you like. It really does work. With my first pregnancy I didn't know about it and I suffered. This pregnancy has been totally different and I can sleep soundly, now that I am using the spray.

Sorry to say but it only gets worse. I slept like a baby my first trimester because I was exhausted. But then once the movement starts, it keeps you up sometimes when it won't stop. And then the third trimester hits, where I'm at now, and you're so uncomfortable you can't sleep. Sigh.
