Cold And Flu

Its that time of yr in england where it gets very very cold, now I am coming down with a cold, sore throat and usually I take lots of medication, what can I do now, any suggestions?

I'm not a doctor...but I do work at a doctors office...the best advice we give for a cold or for the flu...lots of chicken soup...stay in and rest..rest...rest...it is safe during pregnancy(but you should always ask your doc first) to use sudafed and tylonol...curl up on your couch with a good book or movie...gargle with warm salt water for your sore throat...good luck

My favorite thing (other than Nyquil when not prego) is a green tea with honey and lemon. Lots of honey:) It feels like a soothing elixer on the throat.

i was sick with my last baby. i had a sore throat and lost my voice. i was advised to rest and take sudafed and gurgle salt water several times a day. it worked. :o)

Sorry what is sudafed, is it safe to take whilst pregnant, this sore throat is so doing my head in. My friend keeps telling me that am having a boy co z i keep getting a sore throat!! Then my other friend told me that am having a girl coz I am blooming!!! Hmmm could it be twins lol?
