Cramping In The Pelvic Bone Area

Hi everyone! I was planning on waiting 1 more week to take a pregnancy test. But, then last night I woke up to a SEVERE stabbing cramp in my.... pelvic bone area? It lasted for nearly 5-10min. Then just stopped just as quickly as it came on. Then it happened once again today but, not as painful and not as long. I had a miscarriage over four years ago and I am frightened about the same thing happening again. I can't remember when I had my last period or even IF I did. So, I could be 3-7 weeks pregnant or my period could not be due for another week. (Believe you me, I am SO kicking myself over this!) I'm thinking it could have been gas or something. But, I thought the placement of the pain was so odd for something like that! I have no bleeding or anything other then the usual PMS sypmtoms in the last two weeks. Has anyone experienced this type of cramping? Thanks for any input!

Home test came out positive. Now I am really concerned about the cramping yesterday. Hasn't really happened at all today. I'm going to have to make an appt with the doc here real soon! I'm so scared and excited I just don't know what to do with myself.

When i was pregnant with my daughter, i had cramping for two weeks - sometimes quite painful. I had some bleeding in the second week too which terrified me. My Dr sent me for an ultra sound & all was ok. The cramping went away & bleeding stopped after 1 day. I have a beautiful 20 month old now! A friend i worked with said she had alot of craming in the first trimester of her first pregnancy too & she had a healthy baby girl too. After lots of reading & talking to my dr, i put it down to my pelvic bones adjusting for the pregnancy - i read this can happen. Hope this helps - i'm praying for you - good luck!
