For Those Who Ve Been Pregnant Before

Hi ladies, I have a question in regards to bloating. I know it is normal to be bloated early in the first trimester, and I did have some bloating with my first two pregnancies. However, this time I am only about 4 1/2 weeks in and I look like about 5 months along. I am not kidding, I was asked at work today when I was due!!! The bloating is unreal. Do you get more bloating with subsequent pregnancies? I haven't told anyone at work yet, I'm only 4 1/2 weeks, but it is difficult to hide right now. Is it because my pregnancies were fairly close together? Could it be a sign of multiples? I am very curious as to what is going on in there. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm having the same issue... I have been wondering if I might have figured the dates wrong, and what I thought was a my LMP was actually implantation bleeding instead (which would make me a month farther along), because there is NO way I should be this big at 6-1/2 wks!!! It's my second; the first just turned 1, so I think you're right, that it gets worse with each baby. I guess our muscles just don't hold in all that stomach after being stretched by earlier pregnancies. Ugh!

Thanks for responding. It is comforting to know I am not the only one. I know I am only 5 weeks along so it isn't a question of that for me, and there is no way that the uterus at 5 weeks has even grown above the bone yet. But wow am I huge. I don't get

I am experiencing the same thing! This is my 3rd, and I have been very bloated and also look much further along than I am! I believe I am about 5 weeks (not really sure). I have a son who is 6 and a daughter who will be 2 this month!

Hi NB, I have 2 boys, ages 3 and 18 months. I hadn't planned on letting anyone know about this pregnancy until I was 12 weeks, but my body seems to have other plans. Pretty weird feeling when people can tell you are pregnant and you are only 5 weeks. Oh well, I am determined not to let myself worry about anything during this pregnancy. It will likely be my last, so I just want to enjoy every

Hey girls! I was/am in the same boat! I feel like a freak of nature right now because I am preggo with #4 and am huge! I will be 11 weeks on monday and am looking about 5 months maybe more! Part of it I'm sure is that my oldest just turned 5 last weekend, so all my kiddos are really close. But they also just found fibroid the same size as the baby... so technically it looks like twins! Anyway, my dr said that multiple pregnancy moms often get much bigger faster... I guess we just share the news earlier and enjoy??
