Do you know of any good books to read about pregnancy, what to expect, diet, etc.?

Your Pregnany, Week by Week...can't think of author at the moment??? Great book. I also bought a pregnancy journal that explains what is going on each day!! I will get the name and forward it to you.

Wow, I have the same 2 books angelbaby recommended and was going to recommend them also. What to Expect When You're Expecting (I think that's what it's called) is old-fashioned and a little unrealistic as far as diet, but it has some good information about your body changes and what you might look like each month. I would recommend getting a subscription to Pregnancy magazine or Fit Pregnancy if you're concerned about diet and staying healthy, because it gives you something new to read about each month.

Question to all - October 2

Ladies- I just posted a thread under "General Preg Q's" about buying a good book. I have "what to expcet when your expecting", and its good in some ways, but yes, it is a little "old school". I want something that combines what to expect, what to eat, what to expect with labor, and the first few months after giving birth. I am going to be a first time mom, so I need a book that will explain that all w/o having to buy 5 different books. I will check out the week by week book, and if anyone has any other ides....please let me know. thanks

"The Pregnancy Bible" is the best I've come accross. I think It's by Dr. Joanne Stone.
