How To Combat Fatique

What are you ladies doing to help with the tiredness? I am sleeping 10-11 hours a night, and still exhausted within hours after waking. Any helpful advice???

Me too! - October 21

I took off from work yesterday (Thursday). On Wednesday night I went to bed at 10pm, got up in the morning around 8, stayed in bed until 10. Cleaned up a bit and then fell asleep on the couch from 12:30 pm until 3pm. And if company wasn't coming that evening, I would have slept longer! I am almost 8 weeks. I've read that this will pa__s and the second trimester you have a lot more energy. As far as fighting it? I guess naps. But that is impossible for those of us who work full time. I would love to crawl under my desk and go to sleep!

I know what you mean. I left work a little early yesterday and went home for a 1/2 hour catnap before picking up my kids (first pregnancy, two wonderful children that came with the husband). That gave me enough energy to keep going until 8:30 instead of pa__sing out at 7:30. I have to be up at 6 in the morning, so I seem to just collapse once I get the kids in bed. Used to be if I was extra tired I'd grab a coffee or something, but no caffiene now :)
