Hey ladies....I don't want to freak out, but I ad a m/c in August and I am pg again. I have been seeing my Dr and she seems to be doing everything to be careful...but I am just worried. If I had a missed Ab would I be able to tell? I was very nauseous before and now I am not so much...I get craving and then I don't want to eat which I know is normal. My br___ts are a little tender still. I am just perenoid. My LMP was Sept 28 so they thought I was about 5-6 weeks. When they did my 1st HCG is was only 118. So the did another a week later and it jumped into the 4000. She is doing a u/s on Thursday...I am just going nuts thinking of this stuff. Please Help calm me down...but be truthful!!!! Even though it may hurt!!! ?

You will drive yourself nuts even when everything is fine. It is totally normal for symptoms to disappear and reappear. Count yourself lucky! Some of us never get a break... but even those who do lose symptoms here and there have totally normal and healthy pregnancies. Try to relax because all that stress isn't good for the baby, take it one day at a time, and just wait until the 2nd trimester when you feel great and don't feel kicks quite yet... it'll really throw you for a loop. :D

I am so glad you answered. Thank you!!! I go from being calm one minute to a nervous reck the next....I have 2 kids already 9 & 10. But I had no symptoms with them. I didn't know til I was 4 months along...so that was easy!!!! But I was on the depo shot for over 8 years and I think it has screwed me up. I did send my hubby out for caramel apples last night at 9:30 so that has to be a good sign right!!! Thank you again. And yes, I can't wait til the 2nd trimester!!!!

I know EXACTLY how you feel.. this whole time I thought it was just me... my symptoms are gone now and I totally freaked out when it happened, but now I know its normal so good news there. you're lucky to get to do an u/s so soon my doc wont do one till 16-20 weeks so I was freaking out thinking I had a missed abortion and wasn't going to know for another 2 months or so but this post and a few others really helped calm my nerves :) hope you have a great pregnancy. -Heather<3

Hey HeatherIsHopeful!!!! Thank you for answering...just to let you know the symptoms came back yesterday for me!!! I never thought I would be happy to feel so sick!!! I go to the u/s today..hopefully good news!!! I have all these weird dreams too...When I m/c in August...it was a a Cubs game(my 1st one ever!!) so now I am paraniod every time I go in public it will happen again:( I have my good days and bad. Why won't your doc do an ultrasound until 16-20 weeks? Tell him your fears or get a different doc...you have to be able to trust your doc and he/she should listen to your concerns. How far along are you and is this your first?

hey Ms. Optimistik, Im glad you got your symptoms back lol sorry to hear about your M/C nd in public too that is terrible! Im sure you'll do great this time around. This is my first pregnancy and Im at about 8 and a half weeks now. I can't switch doctors because Im going through a military hospital with military health insurance and they have like this whole nine month "curriculum/ syllabus" thing laid out for everyone so unless you are high risk they usually don't do anything to help calm your worries early on yay for military hospitals *rolls eyes* though at my next visit on the 28th I think they are going to listen for a heart beat but I'll be at like 11 weeks and I have heard many people cant hear it then or something. I don't know.. hopefully it all works out :) good luck with your U/S let us know how it goes. -Heather<3

Same here girls. I've had 2 miscarriages in a row in the past 7 months, last one on sept. 9th. I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and cannot enjoy my pregnancy because I'm constantly freaking out about every little thing. The first time it happened I was like "well, I guess it happens to a lot of women and it was just bad luck", so I got pregnant again 4 months later and was thinking " no way I'll miscarry again, I mean what are the chances of that happening twice in a row, after all I do have a healthy 2 year old and an uncomplicated pregnancy under my belt", well, I WAS WRONG. It happened again...and now that I'm pregnant 2 months later, I'm just waiting for it to happen. Even though the dr. found the problem and I'm not treating it.

**** I meant to say I'm NOW treating it, not I'm NOT.....LOL, that wouldn't be good.

HeatherIsHopeful - November 8

lol I was confused there for a minute sashasmama.. i was like "why aren't you treating it!!" lol anyway good luck with this one you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. :) -Heather<3

me too sashasmama!!! I was confused thank you for fixing that!!! I will keep you in my thoughts!!! All of you girls!!! I really don't know how I would make it through day to day without hearing others have gone through the same things. I did have my u/s yesterday...going in the tech said she thinks it is pointless to do it cuz it is so early...she said it was sometimes better to not have one cause you can't see anything that early and then the mom is worried....as soon as she started she saw the heart beat!!!! I am officially 6w2d!!!!
