Gabby, I'm so glad to hear you're ok -that must have been so scary:( Faye, welcome! So you have a 7month old???? How are you doing? I complain about exhaustion and I don't even have another child to take care of! Hopefully your husband is a big help to you right now! Although my b___bs are tender, they're not really getting any bigger -and that's one thing I was looking forward to! So far my belly is the only thing that's growing and I'm still wearing the same bras (with some adjustments). Heather, congrats on your u/s today -it's so exciting seeing that little bean:) and Deb, good luck with yours on monday -I hope you're feeling better soon! Hio, I am thinking about the 3D u/s. We have a clinic here where you can have that done, and my friends who have gone have raved about their experience and the photos. Actually, you can go (and take as many ppl as you want in with you), and they'll tell you the gender (if you want to know), take as much time is needed to get really great photos (i.e. whether the baby is active or not, and if not, you can re-schedule to a later date to try again), and you also get a CD with all the pics too. We're debating whether or not we're going to do that. Here, in Nova Scotia, the only way you get a photo (and get to find out the gender) with a regular u/s is if you're 'high risk' and have to be sent to the fetal a__sessment unit. At my u/s I didn't get a pic or anything and was really disappointed. So needless to say, we're really considering it.

I think a 3D one would be really neat farther down the line.

Hey everyone! I know a friend of mine went for the 3d one and she went back 3 times but her cupcake was hiding lol - She said it was expensive - I don't know if i will do that or not .. I am kinda broke and need so much stuff I doubt it would be possible. I will tell you what though yesterday and today i am noticing more then usual my bras are KILLING ME - I had to go buy a maternity bra but i just didnt want to use it yet - I guess I will have to soon - and I should get a couple more - that one is a 40D lord almighty.. i am typically a 36/38C ooo and those maternity jeans I bought Tight already .. this is going to be traumatic to me LOL anyway i wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone :o) At 13 weeks are we officially 2nd trimester?

Popping in real quick....my appointment went well and fast. Peed in a cup, listened to the hb, in and out like that. My hubby is back now so I've been spending time with him. He's such a dork. We were in Walmart today and he was being really sweet and affectionate, guess he missed me, and he was like bae, I'm really lovin you right now I just wanna tell the wrold *shouts* I LOVE MY WIFE! Everyone in the aisle started laughing and he was like sorry, didn't mean to embara__s you and I was like yeah, yeah you did. I'm going back on the 17th (three weeks from my last appointment so I'll be 16 weeks) to have to blood test done for downsyndrome. After that my next appointment will be my ultrasound :) and I'm hoping they'll schedule that for a week or two later. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to bringing our thread into the second trimester shortly.

Kay, what your husband did is so cute! AW! I'm glad your appt went well! I gues thats how mine will go tommorrow! I was hoping it would take longer so that I could miss more work. Darn. This is our first, and DH has been wonderful with helping and putting up with my moodiness and even more interesting, he finds the fact that I'm carrying his chid to be very s_xy and he keep his hands off me! Sometimes I think he is crazy. How is everyone today?

Faye84 - November 29

Hello everyone!!! I dont think Ill get a 3D ultrasound, its all about timing really, if the babies face is covered then to me its kind of a waste of money. I remember with my daughter it was hard for the tech to even measure her because she wouldnt stop moving. Anyone have morning sickness? mine isnt too bad, I only feel c___ppy after I eat... But i found that if i eat some icecream I feel better... haha im sure thats a mental thing though.

hioannidis - November 29

Our husbands are so good to us!!! I go next Tuesday for my 12 week u/s. Man oh man I can't wait. The last time I saw my lo was at 7weeks. Looking forward to seeing how much lo has changed. Are you ladies going to find out the s_x of the baby?

hioannidis - November 29

Does anyone know how R__ is doing? Was it a confirmed miscarriage........I hope not!!

HeatherIsHopeful - November 29

I hope R is doing well also, It didn't seem like it was confirmed but I guess since she hasn't been on either she is on STRICT bed rest or doesn't want to talk about it. I hope she is okay. =/

Faye84 - November 29

I havent seen any posts from her either. How far along was she? I am going to find out the s_x of the baby, I dont think i can wait! lol. hioannidis you are so lucky youve already gotten an ultrasound! my doc appt is Dec 6 so hopefully I will be able to set up an Ultrasound appt then! What do you ladies think your having? I have a feeling Im having a boy.

newlywed0915 - November 29

R__ was/is 12 weeks.I hope she didn't miscarry, but from what she described that she was pa__sing....I hope against all odds that it wasn't the case and she is on bedrest. My heart aches for her. As far as finding out the s_x... I never thought i could wait. I always thought ppl who did were crazy. DH and I always said we'd find out asap. Now we're saying we dont' want to find out until the very end...because it will be a nice suprise...so we'll see how well we hold out! Everyone in our families want us to wait too! I'm going to have to buy boy and girl clothing! lol. I think its a girl. My chinses gender prediction calendar says its a girl...and the old wives tale of holding a ring suspended on a string over your palm says its a girl too. But it also says I'm having 9 kids. Hahahaha! Who knows if those things are true? They're fun anyway.

Faye84 - November 29

haha 9 kids!! youd be famous!! With my daughter I wanted to wait too But at the last min I gave in and changed my mind... AS we were doing the ultrasound. LOL I dont know if those predictors are true or not. It said I was going to have a girl with my daughter and well shes a she! I also had that "feeling" that the baby was a girl, turned out I was right. The chinese cale ndar is the only thing I tried.

newlywed0915 - November 29

hahaha!!!! 9 kids, I know! Um, ladies hold onto your seats because what I'm going to say is going to shock you!!!!!!!!!! My hubby's uncle had 15 kids! Insane, right? They are the most beautiful family though!!!! 11 handsome italian boys and 4 beautiful girls! LOL! They are all so loving and even though it gets crazy at their house, its got this family feel to it that just leaves you feeling happy! The oldest is 30 and the youngest is 3..almost 4. ANYWAY... I myself only have 3 siblings and DH had two (his sister died at 17)...so we want a football team and some cheerleaders...God Willing. :-) Hahaha, maybe we're asking for too much... but hey, if its not meant to be, it won't happen.

Jessicab3 - November 29

Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm due June 26th so I will be 10wks tomorrow. I just read this whole thread and now I'm dying for a cinnabon, but we don't have a store in my town =( I'm going to have to find the Pillsbury kind. Anyone else cooking like crazy? Usually I hate to cook but now I find myself making these elaborate meals. Yesterday I made a turkey pot pie from SCRATCH. My hubby is in awe...lol.

newlywed0915 - November 29
