Hi everyone- I love reading all your questions and answers. My lmp was 3/3 when I was 11 days late for my period I took a test and I was pregnant this was 3 1/2 weeks ago. since then Ive done 2 sets of blood work resulting in progesterone and 2 ultrasounds with another one next week. supposedly Im only 6 weeks!! Does this make sence? I havent even had my first appointment so Im confused. I had a miscarriage with my 1st preg. 4 years ago and had cramping followed by light bleeding the 1st weekend I found out I was pregnant. this is what prompted the early testing. The last ultrasound found ?'s about the growth of the crown and bottom. Im concerned maybe im really 11 week based on my lmp. and maybe the growth of the baby is slow and only 6 weeks along and the progesterone is preventing a miscarriage that may have been. I have been married almost 6 years and want nothing more to have a healthy baby. I just hate being in the dark, were always just playing the waiting game. So is it possible to find out your pregnant at 2 1/2 weeks?? Thanks for any suggestions you may have and god bless

Hi Kristina, I too had my LMP 3/3. I tested positive with HPT and blood test on 3/28 (beta 32, so very early days). So, I tested positive not even 2 weeks after ovulation, to answer your one question. As far as being 6 weeks now (according to your u/s) - it's quite possible the first positive was a chemical pregnancy, although you would've gone on to have a normal period, I would think. What are your beta levels? That would tell you something (in addition to progesterone). My betas were 32, 11dpo, 84, 13dpo, and 4189 20dpo. I would go by your betas and u/s (they're going to check for baby's growth week to week, or at least they should) more so than your LMP. I also had 2 m/c (Dec. '04 and Jan '05) so I know how agonizing it can be. Best of luck - really try not to worry/stress out, enjoy every minute if at all possible. Peace, Marivic

Thankyou for the advice Marivic. I dont mean to sound ignorant but Im not familiar with "beta levels" All I know my md checked for was HCG and Progesterone both were low. I'll call them in the morning and see if they checked that level as well. Thanks again for your advice and knowledge best of luck to you as well.
