Is it normal for the inside of your va___a to turn a blue/black colour? I am worrie my period is on it's way! Please help?

As crazy as it seems, I think I've read that somewhere recently. Just do a search for it on the web, using google or something.

I actually looked it up because I was curious and it is a symptom and it's called "Chadwicks Sign". I guess it would happen around 6 weeks. Here's what I found "Chadwick originally reported this observation in 1886. During pregnancy the v____al mucosa appears bluish/ purplish-red. This change in color is caused by increased blood flow. This change in color is only suggestive of pregnancy, not diagnostic. Any condition that causes congestion in the pelvis could be present with similar findings. Chadwick's sign was also reported on the v____al mucosa...Not the outer lips of the v____a or labia. You may wish to see your OB/GYN physician to have an examination to determine the reason for the discoloration. "

Thanks Jessica went to my GYN yesterday and PREGNANT, thanks so much again for looking it up for me..my partner and i have been waiting twon years for this!!!!
