My Morning Sickness Comes Every Night

I will be 12 weeks on saturday and I was thinking that my m/s had subsided only to find out that now I feel sick nearly everynight! I try to eat supper but usually only end up nibbling and then throwing up or having to go straight to bed because I feel so sick. Last night it was so bad that I got sick in the shower which was totally horrible!!! SORRY, TMI!!! Anyway, does anyone have any tips for night sickness. I feel pretty good all day. I think it is because I am up and about...I'm a teacher... so I don't have a chance to think about being sick.

hi kristinn, I feel for you. I have m/s pretty much all day. Thing is, it only kicked in at 9.5 weeks (so I thought I was gonna be spared)--I am 10.5 weeks now. I have that icky nauseated feeling in the pit of my stomach and the back of my throat all day and the only thing that allievates it is eating and that's only temporary b/c after an hour or two the feeling comes right back. I don't what to tell you, all we can do is hang in there!

I had pretty much the same thing ginger described (sickness every second of every minute of every day without a break...EVER). I ended up having to be put on meds from the dr to control it. Mine started just over 5w and I am now 10w and can't make it through the day without my meds.

Hi Kristin - I have tried everything!! I am 10 1/2 weeks and have had m/s since week 5. I went to the dr and was put on diclectin which helps a little - went from getting sick 7-8 times per day to 2-3 times per day. Tried sea-bands - they did not help, ginger, crackers, soda, etc all with no help. I get that horrible taste in my mouth all day and my pharmasist thinks it might be heartburn/ acid reflux. All I can say is try to hang in there and maybe ask about diclectin. GL - I hate throwing up in the shower too!!!

I have the same exact problem...and I am a teacher as well! It could be just because we don't have a chance to feel bad..I teach 2nd grade and they keep me very busy! Like you said, I just try to go to sleep so I keep it down! I HATE THROWING UP...uuggghhh! But sorry I don't have anything that actually helps! Just sleep! GL

OK I am almost 7 weeks (monday) And I am the same way, Only I can't eat ANYTHING!! I survive on tid bits here and there, therefore having NO energy. Can't sleep at night cause all I do during the day is watch TV so it's a d__n vicious cycle I can't break cause even thinking about eggs, energy drinks or anything of the common nature, makes me feel like Im going to puke. I only puke about 2-3 times a day and after I feel fine, but I would like to eat more then a few tid bits after I puke, so what does anyone have to reccommend? Any thing would be better... Meds are kinda iffy right now because it's a high risk pregnancy. uhg... Help! And GL to everyone else here! --Kerry

Every one is different, but I was too getting sick itleast once a day from 6 weeks till around 10 weeks, then it eased off. At 12 weeks, your relief is near if you are like most women. I didn't think I was ever going to feel better, but you do and it goes away as quicky as it came. Wait till your 13 or 14th and you'll feel alot better. I felt almost completely nausea free at around 14 weeks.
