anyone currently pregnant and having to take care of a baby? how do you do it, some days are so tough with the nausea and having to watch out for a little one. my son is only 9 mths old and he wears me out. between house work and him, being pregnant is even tougher than the first time. and what do you do for the nausea? when i was preg with #1 at least i could just rest all day. now i have to try to function, take care of myself and my son. any suggesttions on how to better manage?

I know how you feel. Our daughter was 21 months when I got pregnant. I had really bad morning sickness, and had a toddler to take care of. Not to mention the house and all the other c___p I do everyday. It was really rough, and there were days when I just couldn't manage by myself and had to have my hubby come home early. I don't know exactly how I did it, but I go through it. Our daughter was my primary concern, and I didn't do anything that wasn't completely necessary. I let the housework go until the weekends when my hubby could help and I spent as much time as I could laying on the couch with my daughter next to me doing some sort of activity together. Madalyn also watched a ton of TV during the really rough times for me. Normally she has no more that one hour of TV time per day, however, desperate times call for desperate measures. I can honestly say that during that time, I loved Dora and Mickey Mouse. LOL. Now our daughter will be three in February, and our son will be three months on Friday, and we have fallen in to a groove. Things are so much easier. Do you have anyone who can help you a bit during the day? Do you have a pack-n-play? You could put your son in it with some toys when you feel you need a break.

ok this may sound a little selfish, but I have a 10 month old as well and being pregnant with morning sickness and chasing a little one around all day just doesn't mix. I also go to school full time, and work part time. So i figured it was time to find a part time babysitter. I'm telling you the days I feel like I'm gonna die I just run her over there for about 3-4 hours. I figure its more fun for her to be able to interact with other children than listen to me whine about not feeling good. Even if you only take him there a couple days a week IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SANITY! :)
