Hi Ruthie, sleeping on your stomach may become uncomfortable for you pretty soon. I would suggest beginning early and sleeping on your left or right side. Your left will help increase blood flow however. If you need to, buy a body pillow or a larger pillow that you can use between your legs for comfort. You can also put the pillow infront of you and lean your top leg on it, almost as if you're leaning onto the pillow. That's the way I like to sleep. Avoid sleeping or laying on your back for any length of time as that can slow blood flow to your uterus. The book "What to Expect When Your Expecting" Has a few good positions and talk a lot about your entire pregnancy. You can find it at amazon.com for less than $13. paperback. Another thing, you may begin to experience sleeplessness at night. If it becomes bothersome talk to your doctor. It's just that with your increased blood flow it's harder to get into a deeper more relaxing sleep because pregnant woman can't breath as deeply. I started using a relaxing Lavender linen spray to help me, if you'd like to try that as well you're welcome to. It's worked great. Good Luck!!
