I went to the doctors again because i noticed that i was swollen really bad down in the va___a. Mostly between the lips of the va___a. The doctor said that it could be an allergic reaction to a medicine that the ER gave me the other night, because the ER thought I had a yeast, well it turned out that I didnt have anything wong at all down there. Now im dealing with this swollenness and I dont know what to do and how long it would be until it goes away. But in the book "what to expect when your expecting" says that that the blood flow and that the swollenness down there is normal. I'm only 9 weeks almost 10 and im afraid that my va___a wont go back to normal and I dont know how long this is going to go on for.....Can someone help in telling me that they had the same thing?

I know how you feel. I have had changes down there since I first got pregnant. It hurts to have s_x most of the time because it just feels sore. I have also noticed that in the past when I have gotten yeast infections, it got swollen as well. When you are pregnant, you can get more discharge down there in your first trimester that can make you feel as if you have a yeast infection but you don't. I felt like I kinda had one throughout the first three months. It all changes, you just have to be patient. In your second you should start having less of that yeasty feeling.

If you are swollen because of an allergic reaction it will go down. My v____a is sensitive to all kinds of things even when I am not pregnant and when I have a reaction it just takes some time and then it is fine.
