I went for my first sonogram (8w 5d). I was told that I have a tilted uterus. Does anyone know what that means? Could this cause a more difficult labor? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I was told by my doctor that my uterus is slightly tilted and that it would have no effect on the pregnancy or labour.

I have 2 children and a very tilted uterus. Both boys are fine, both were early, but doc says the uterus is not the reason. I am pregnant again with my 3rd, I am much more concerned about being 37 when the baby is born...lots of tests and things. You should be fine!!

that just means that your uterus is tilted with the top part being closer to your back instead of having it straight up and down. It won't cause any problems through pregnancy or labor, once the baby gets bigger the uterus will straighten itself out.
