Is it safe?

check with your doctor first and definately inform your instructor there that you are pregnant and need a low impact work out. Exercise during pregnancy is a great thing to do for you and baby and should definately be started in the first trimester if you plan to keep with it during your entire pregnancy. A really GREAT exercise during pregnancy is aquasize. It's very low impact on your joints and keeps overheating down, plus you can do a regular cla__s with non-preggos all throughout your pregnancy.

I work out at curves and my dr. says it's a great low-impact workout for pregnancy! Keep up the good work!

I have heard that you should not do the entire curves workout throughout your entire pregnancy as there are some machines you should not use...check with your doctor..like lilmum says...aquasize is great...that is something I want to start!

We had a Curves in town once and it shut down and a bigger gym opened up and they had more equip that I use there than Curves did. Do what's comfortable and stop when it's not. Common sense. And ask your doc next time if what you're doing is okay. Mine said do whatever I wanted that was comfy so I have been.
