Anyone taking Allegra D? It contains pseudoephedrine and fexofenadine. ???

"The decongestant pseudoephedrine (a cla__s C drug) causes birth defects in some animal species. Additionally, there have been a__sociations between first trimester exposure to these medications and malformations, though the malformations have been primarily minor. Thus, Allegra-D should be used in pregnancy only if the physician feels that the potential benefit outweighs the risk." It says the same for fexofenadine. Cla__s C drugs should be avoided during pregnancy, maybe you could use benedryl or claritin instead, both are cla__s B drugs, benedryl being the safest in my opinion because it's been used longer.
