I had that while pg the last time--I'd drink a gallon to a gallon and a half of various forms of liquid per day--my dr didn't worry about it at all, just said my body decided it needed some more fluids :) Good luck though, let us know what happens.

I just asked my doctor about that last night at my visit because I have been really thirsty lately for water. He said that is normal and it's good sign.

Your body is using up a lot of fluid now for baby. You really need to increase fluid intake during pregnancy. Dehydration is a big cause of pre-term labor.

Keep in mind that by the end of your pregnancy you'll have 50% more blood volume, and you'll need the extra fluids to soften up your tissues and joints in preparation for birth. Make sure you're well hydrated.
