Bad Dreams

I have been having regular dreams where my husband either is cheating on me or doesn't love me anymore. I wake up crying and then can't get over being mad at him even though it was just a dream. We have never had any issues in our marriage (married 7 years) and have always been perfectly happy. This is our first child and I have been trying to explain to him that my dreams don't mean anything but he is upset that I keep having them. Does anyone else have this issue??

Wow, I've had the same dreams. Sometimes he's not even cheating but just flirting or talking to someone and ignoring me. It must be something to do with the insecurity of being pregnant and the hormones. I don't get mad at dh, but he does feel bad anyways and always tries to rea__sure me after I tell him about by giving me extra attention. I would just tell him that women get very insecure while pregnant, our bodies will never be the same and no matter how s_xy they tell us we are, we don't feel that way, so it's just hormones. Good luck.

Hey cyndyb. We are working on our fourth child. I have had these dreams with all three. They are so real. I would wake up so upset. I think it is just the reality of the forever bond and commintment you have just created with your husband and It is stressful. I don't know but I think in a marriage, especially with kids that would be the worst and that is where subconseously your mind goes. Tell him not to worry to much about them.

Agreed. We are programmed to worry about our support systems when a baby is on the way, consciously and subconsciously. Maybe this is supposed to make you super attentive to each other. Good luck!
