I just wanted to ask each of you how far along you are and what type of exercises are you doing,if any and how much,I find myself wanting to do more but lately I cant find the energy to do much so I wanted to know if I was the only one in this predeciment.

Well I found it in myself to get out tonight for a little walk :)

I walk my puppy for 30-40 minutes 4 times a week. My husband is buying me a treadmill this weekend for an early b-day gift. This way I can walk even if its raining or after the baby is born while it is sleeping. I dont have much energy at all. But my puppy loves walks so much and she is so cute I force myself. :o)

I'm worried that I haven't been doing enough exercise. I'm 30 weeks now and all I do is a bit of walking. I felt too tired all the way through my first trimester. Didn't have enough time in my second, because of work. Now I'm too huge and uncomfortable to even contemplate it. Even walking is too much sometimes and I really have to force myself. They say that giving birth is like running a marathon, so I'm really worried I won't be strong enough.

i was working out curves and walking my dogs 30 min a day 4- 5 days a week until about 3 weeks ago. i have pain in my back that goes down into my left leg. i am getting physical therapy for it. i was informed to modify my workouts by eliminating the lower body workouts at curves, and it was suggested i go to water aerobics. i love it b/c i'm weightless and it helps my back and leg. i go to that 3-5 times a week including water therapy. even though i'm in my eighth month and getting more tired, the aqua aerobics helps me relax. so, you may not to look up these cla__ses at your local rec center or ymca

i mean you may want to look up these cla__ses at your local rec center or ymca, not may not, sorry!

I'm 7 weeks. I haven't been exercising as much as I want to because I just left one job and started a new one, I'm in cla__ses to finish up my Master's degree, it's hot, and I'm tired. Is that enough excuses? I've only known I'm pregnant for two weeks and have only made the conscious effort to exercise twice. Once was low-intensity hiking, the other was prenatal yoga this morning. I really want to do more but seem to value sleeping as long as possible more than anything else at the moment. Also disgusted that I'm having to buy new clothes already. I haven't had any morning sickness and am starting to wonder if that isn't the great equalizer that keeps most women from gaining a lot of weight in their first trimester.

Well it sounds like all of you are doing good, yoga, ymca, water aerobics, walking your dog, I am so jealous!! I just wish I could find the strength in me to do more, I am going on 28 weeks and feel so huge, I had to go from a Medium in my maternity shorts today to a Large, I have already gained 22 lbs and still have 2 1/2 more months to go..I am so worried...and I am scared that I will go out of my 25-30 lbs desired weight gain, this is my second child, first one was 10 years ago, I just dont know what to think..at times I feel like "I" must be the hugest pregnant woman I always feel like I am fixing to pop, do any of you feel that way too?

Sonya-edd 10/12/05 - July 3

Lynn, I know how you feel. I am one of those woman that starts showing the minute of conception. I constantly have people telling me...oh, you aren't due until October, I would have thought sooner. I walk about 1/2-1 mile 4-6 times a week and it has helped alot. I am 25 (almost 26) weeks and I have gained 16 pounds. My last pregnancy I gained about 50 pounds so I have really tried hard this time. Good Luck to you.
