Miserable!!! - May 23

Okay.......now I have nausea (for the past 3 days - steadily getting worse) to the point where I WISH I'd throw up and get it over with. AND.....when I check my cervix I get globs of lotion-like, white cm that has NO odor what-so-ever. I am starting to think that I might actually BE pg, but I don't want to psyche myself into this only to turn around and get af when it's due. Oh yeah, and I also have been feeling weird twinges around my pelvic area and lower back. Anybody else experience these signs and turn out to be pg? I am roughly 5 to 7 days away from af. Thanks for any help.......

Good luck Miserable. I hope you are!!! Please keep us posted. I have had an achy feeling in my lower back on and off from the beginning as well. I'm worried as I have spotting after straining to use the bathroom. It didn't happen for about a week & a half, now just this morning it did. But the constipation is pretty bad - I did NOT get enough water or veggies over the weekend. I've got to be more disiplined than this! I get lax on the weekends - lazy!! lol.

Thanks Bree.....may I ask just how far along you are at this point? Is it still early in the game? Do you really think it's possible that I might actually be pregnant? Gosh....I do not want to get my hopes up, but I can't help it!!!! Oh yeah......forgot to mention that I have been taking one to two tablespoons of mineral oil a day for the last 3 days and my constipation is still there - but I have 'moved' enough to relieve some of the pressure (did I mention that my hemorrhoids are back? UGH!). Mineral oil has no taste, and it's like swallowing a spoonful of cooking oil - I swig down orange juice or gatorade right afterwards to help it go down. It doesn't gross me out, and I KNOW it won't harm the baby (if I am pregnant). It's better than getting cramps by taking a laxative, let me tell ya'.....

Yes, unfortunately constipation comes with pgncy a lot of the time. Try eating a high fiber diet. This will help keep you regular and flushed out. I know a lot about IBS and I do think I can give you some helpful advice. Constipation can actually make IBS flare up, some even think could be the cause of IBS. Because bacteria is staying in your intestines for too long it can cause ulcers etc., which can cause very bad diarrhea and make for a miserable life. Even when you are having diarrhea, it is important to eat a high fiber diet in order to make sure your intestines stay free of old bowell with all that bacteria in it. The second thing that I reccommend that you do is to start drinking a cup of hot green tea each morning. If you are pregnant I suggest getting decaffinated green tea and make sure it does not contain herbs or any other weird ingredients. After boiling your water, put a tea bag into a cup and pour the water in, let it brew for about 3 minutes, then add 1 tsp of sugar and some milk. It is very healthy and has antibodies, which help fight infections and bacteria. It can keep IBS under control and even symptom free!! Most people find that after doing this for about 1 - 2 months they feel completely cured. Another thing you might want to try is taking a calcium supplement once a day. I hope you feel better soon. Good Luck.
