im not pregnant but my husband and i are talking about it. this would be our first baby. for about 3 weeks last week i was so excited about it, thinking of names, looking at baby clothes and how i will juggle work and my horse with a baby and making it work. this past week i have been absolutley scared, not wanting to have a baby. but i will also think i want to one minute then 30 minutes later i dont want to again. im thinking its just my hormones changes for the month and me being tired from working so many hours for xmas. im thinking that all the thought are not typically normal. if i did happen to get pregnant i would be totally excited, but i am afraid that if i was i would also get depressed and stressed about it all on top of having days of excitement. it would be a huge change which i dont take well. im not sure what to think of it all.

TLP ~ I think your feelings are completely normal. I'm in the same boat, only we are debating baby #3. It's a typical battle of head vs heart. Your heart longs for a baby, but in your head, you know it's going to be so life changing, that it's completely overwhelming. I change my mind on a daily basis, and i'm not sure what the deciding factor is going to be. What I do know is that after having 2 beautiful children (2 1/2 year old girl, Hailee & and a 1 year old, Nicholas) I have absolutely no regrets. Yeah, it's stressful at times, but nothing that you can't handle. The excitement that you feel at the thought of having a baby makes me think that you might one day regret NOT having a baby. Do you have to decide on this right now? If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Can you seek help with your horse from your husband, family & friends while you're pregnant? If you found out you were unexpectedly pregnant today, I bet you would find a way to make it work no matter what. If you want my opinion, I think you have so much more to gain by having a baby than by not having one. Regret can be so painful. I hope this helps, keep me posted. Happy Holidays & Best Wishes!

It's normal. I went though with it AFTER I was PG, lol. Happens to everyone, don't worry. GL.

TLP, I am now 8 weeks pregnant with my first. Before I got preg, i had baby fever like crazy because my sister was pregnant and my friend was and all i wanted was a baby, The more and more i thought about it i didnt want a child because i was not ready. When i found out i was i wanted it, it is normal to go through these feelings before and after. I still think to myself i cant do this and then a second later yeah i can. It gets worse when you are pregnant. good luck
