For Those Worried About What They Drank B4 They Knew

When you ladies say you drank the first seven weeks with out knowing, how much are you actually drinking, per day/week and how many drinks. My husband and I have a bad habit going out and playing pool or just having a few friends over for cards, I can easily drink up to nine beers while conversing and playing cards. But we have been trying and frankly I've had a hard time putting them down. Believe me we're from Missouri but we're not raging Ozark whitetrash, just some 25 year old city folk!! Could you ladies give me an idea of what you drank! Thanks

I never really drank but was more of a pill popper. Friday nights on the sofa were more fun if I took a percoset. I have them for a problem with my jaw and ear but, like many on the road to addiction, I found them useful for other times. I was really scared until my doctor told me they give narcotic pain relievers to pregos without hesitation. I should say that I miscarried twice and it would not surprise me if it were due to the pills I took, although the OB/GYN said that was not the case with this specific pill. I DO NOT USE THEM ANYMORE:) Just wanted to clarify that.

I was actually a club hopper at that time. We had no children and lots of single friends, so we went out a lot. So when I say drank a lot, I mean probably 4-5 nights a week. Sometimes in moderation, sometimes slamming back Crown Royal or jello shots! Most nights, though, it was several beer.... maybe anywhere from 5-12, depending how I felt. And I know what you mean about not wanting people to think you are "Ozark white trash". I'm from Arkansas. I have actually been talking about that in the thread t_tled "Hey m". And I wouldn't consider what you do a "bad habit". You have to go out and have fun and socialize. My hubby and I have occasional cookouts/poker nights, too, at our house. Is it too nosy to ask what part of Missouri you are from? You don't have to give a town or anything. I was just curious because I'm pretty much North Central Ark.... so fairly close to Southern Missouri. I go to Branson a lot to shop. And we go up to Thayer to buy lottery tickets, and sometimes Sunday beer (LOL). We go by the bootheel on our way to StL to watch the Cards. Does this feel like a Geography lesson? LOL

Hey m, We're probably not even five mintues from Busch stadium, we're pretty close to downtown in a little shotgun house built a 100 years ago, we adore it!! So that has been an issue as well, when trying for a baby, making room!! Well, it's nice to know we're not the only raging partiers, we have toned it down a lot since we got married in June, but then we have our nights, where we just want to go all out!!! Shots, drinking games, ect! Do you play washers in Arkansas, that was our huge summer drinking past time!! I've never really hit up Branson, but I love Table Rock, ecspecially Big Cedar Lodge! Awesome food! Well, I start my period next week the 14th, I hope it's a positive, my lower back is killing me today!! I've had some other symptoms, but I never know if it's my mind playing tricks on me!!! I never want to fully think I am so I just go along and live my life like I usually do, coffee, beer on the weekends!! I hear about the women that cut everything out and are still trying, I would drive myself crazy if I couldn't give Anheuser-Busch business!!! Ha! Thanks for writing back!!

That's awesome you live near Busch. Then you don't have to deal with fighting the d__n traffic looking for a parking spot, that costs freaking $15! Have they started construction of the new stadium? And yes, we Arkansans play washers. I don't really because I suck at stuff like that, but my hubby plays.... and horseshoes. I have my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully, come the 14th, you won't get your "visitor"! Keep us posted!!! By the way, that AB tour is one of my favorite things to do in StL. That last room you go to is really the most interesting one!! LOL

hmm, I've never done the tour and I was born and raised in the STL, silly, I'll have to go do it sometime!! Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for me, we'll see!!! Oh! I sucked at washers too, just start playing by yourself, you'll get the hang of it!!!
