Hi everyone, I'm about 17 weeks pregnant and need some help with my eating. Before I got pregnant I weight 100lbs and could pretty much eat whatever I wanted and not have to worry. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped smoking and I know I replacing that with food and I eating junk. The thing is I an a picky eater and I need some help finding foods I like and that are healthy for me. Can anyone help?

There are lots of good choices out there to eat..what type of foods do you like? I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, cottage cheese and yogurt, whole wheat pastas, 100% juices, lean meats, buffalo is good if you can get it, if you make stuff at home you know exactly whats in it and that's a good start right there..I also eat lots of egg salad sandwiches, stews and soups, salads...

I love things like chicken, salad, and fruits. I don't eat a lot of red meat and also I'm lactose intolerant and I hate eggs. Also I don't really perpare meals so I could really use some help on recipes that would be healthy. I've been sreaching the web and really can't find anything, it's mostly about dieting while pregnant. Any bit of help would be great.

I love using the Jamie Oliver cookbooks. His recipes are really easy to follow and they are pretty nutritional. You could also try the Food Network website...that's pretty good. Recipes from your friends or family. You don't really want to diet when you're pregnant you just want to eat healthy.
